Hope Love Smile Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting children and families navigating special needs, medical challenges, and difficult moments. We exist to bring comfort, connection, and meaningful support—when it matters most.
Built on a simple belief: small acts of kindness can create lasting impact.
This mission is deeply personal to us. It was inspired by our daughter Emme, whose own journey with special needs opened our eyes to how much a little extra comfort and support can mean to a family in the middle of a hard season.
What started as a desire to give back has grown into a mission-driven organization focused on delivering tangible support to families facing some of life's toughest circumstances. We aim to meet families where they are—with empathy, care, and action.

Meghan co-founded HLSP and serves as President, guiding the organization's mission and vision. She presides over the Board, sets strategic direction, and serves as HLSP's primary public representative — ensuring every program and partnership stays true to the organization's purpose of bringing comfort, connection, and hope to families facing life's hardest moments.
Travis co-founded HLSP and leads day-to-day operations, programs, and strategy as Executive Director. From building partnerships with hospitals and community organizations to driving fundraising initiatives and communications, Travis works to turn HLSP's mission into action — ensuring every program runs smoothly and every family we serve feels supported.
Crystal serves as HLSP's Treasurer, overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, and responsible stewardship of every donation. Her diligence ensures that funds entrusted to HLSP go exactly where they're needed most — directly supporting children and families.
Terri builds and nurtures HLSP's relationships with hospitals, clinics, and community partners. From coordinating Hugs for Healing outreach to representing HLSP at community events, she's the connective thread between our mission and the people who help bring it to life.
